Cross River Hires Bernard Garrigues as Global Chief People Officer to Further Lead Company’s Next Stage of Growth

Seasoned fintech executive brings decades of experience to Cross River’s leadership team

FORT LEE, N.J. - Cross River Bank (“Cross River”), a technology infrastructure provider that offers embedded financial solutions, announced the recent hiring of Bernard Garrigues as Global Chief People Officer to further the Company’s purpose-driven and values-based culture and support continued global growth.

With over 30 years of experience leading human resources efforts for global companies, Garrigues will spearhead Cross River’s people function, overseeing all domestic and global human resources strategies and building upon the Company’s award-winning, inclusive culture. Garrigues will lean on his industry experience spanning financial services, banking, technology, and consumer with companies including GE, Timex, Webster Bank and most recently, Customers Bank.

As Global Chief People officer, Garrigues will serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team. He will develop and execute best in-class HR initiatives encompassing leadership, employee relations, talent acquisition, engagement, culture, compensation, organizational design and change and performance management.
